“Central Asia – 2022”: “Information and Library resources in Science, Education, Culture and Business” XV International Conference

The purpose of the conference:

  • To enhance the reading culture of young people in the age of information technology through the dissemination of advanced teaching methods and tools;
  • To facilitate the effective exchange of experiences on the problems of the formation of electronic information resources, creation of information and library systems and it effects using in information and library institutions, educational institutions, archives, museums:
  • To assist the creation of associations/consortia for sharing information and library (especially electronic) resources, organization of training centers for training in new information technologies in information and library science.
  • To activate library and educational institutions in the direction of using the Internet capabilities, electronic databases more actively for opening access to information resources and the formation of their content.

Conference participants: International experts; directors, heads, and specialists of libraries of information resource and information library centers, archives, museums; scientists and teachers of educational institutions, IT specialists, representatives of ministries and departments.

It is planned to publish a collection of conference materials «Central Asia - 2022: Information and library resources in science, education, culture, and business». Following the results of the conference, recommendations will be given that are planned to be reflected in the final document.

Participation in the conference:
 We ask you to confirm by April 15, 2022, and please send an e-mail (centralasia2022@gmail.com) the completed registration form including a scanned copy of the passport, which is necessary for booking the hotel.
 We are pleased to support the local transportation (including shipping from airport to hotel and back), four nights’ hotel accommodation and meal (from 24 to 27 May 2022) in the city of Andijan for one representative. Unfortunately, we are not able to cover the cost of international airfares.
 Additionally, we inform that, accompanying person should pay a membership fee of 550$. The membership fee includes domestic flights, hotel accommodation and meal in the city of Andijan (Uzbekistan). Accompanying person will need to pay the registration fee after coming to Andijan.
The registration fee includes:
 shipping from airport to hotel and back
 hotel accommodation and meal (from 25 to 27 May 2022)
 participation in the professional activities of the conference
 corporate portfolio/bag, comprising a collection of reports and information materials of the conference
 participate in the opening ceremonies, closing ceremonies (including banquet) and daily cultural events with the participation of artists
